You asked. We delivered. Stone supplier and distributor Instone is proud to announce the launch of a new manufactured stone veneer line, Toro Stone – a product designed specifically for masons.

For years, contractors have shared their thoughts with Instone about the strengths and limitations of the veneer products they use on the job each day. As the manufactured stone market has grown in recent decades, there has been a shift in focus. Some experts have noted that an increasing number of products are tailored to meet the preferences of architects and designers, often with less consultation with installers and their valuable insights. In response, there’s a growing focus on elevating overall product quality.

Toro Stone was designed as the answer to our masonry customers’ wishes. It is a premium-caliber stone veneer available at a moderate price, with stones that are both durable and realistic-looking. In sum, Toro is a product any installer would be proud to stand behind.

Toro Stone’s innovative-yet-simple packaging was conceived to make installers’ lives easier. Many manufacturers sell their stones in odd quantities that make estimating an order more complicated than it needs to be. Every box of Toro Stone contains either 10 square feet of stone for flats or 10 linear feet for corners.

Some companies’ veneer boxes come in long, flat shapes that are awkward to transport. Toro’s boxes stack the stone vertically instead, making for tall boxes that are easier to maneuver through tight areas.

Another common practice by manufacturers is to fill its crates with the stones stacked on top of each other in layers, and all adding up to non-intuitive quantities. Toro Stone’s crates simply contain its boxes so the product will still come in clean multiples of 10. It is also easy and safe to unload one box at a time from our crates, rather than having to lug a whole loaded crate around a job site.

Toro Stone rounds out Instone’s deep inventory of masonry products: namely, a strong variety of thin brick veneer options. Customers have long expressed the need for attractive thin-brick products that are reliably stocked, high quality, and affordable.

Toro Stone offers a range of colors and styles that complement the aesthetic of any environment. With their weathered surface and chipped corners, Toro’s Reclaimed Brick and Vintage Brick styles can match the look and feel of places that radiate history through their brickwork. Other black and gray color varieties emanate a bold, modern feel that immediately draws the eye.

The Toro Stone name and logo were chosen in recognition of the traits that a bull embodies to us: strength, toughness, resilience, and pride. We’re confident you’ll find that the durability and beauty of our stone lives up to the name.

More than just a product, our hope is for Toro Stone to grow into a community. To our masonry friends: No one respects your work like we do. As we see it, masonry is an ancient and venerated artform, and you are the heirs to that legacy.

Every day we hear the inspiring stories of contractors whose training was handed down from generation to generation.
